Reach the start line of your next sprint distance triathlon feeling fitter and stronger than ever with this 12 week sprint triathlon training plan from Brownlee Fitness. Using expertise from Olympic triathlon legends Alistair Brownlee and Jonny Brownlee, this triathlon training program will take you through 12 weeks of structured workouts to get you race day ready.
- Level - Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced
- Duration - 12 weeks
- Sessions - 4 to 10 per week
- Hours - 6.5 per week
Suitable for those with a moderate level of existing fitness, this plan is ideal for those who can:
- Train 5 to 6.5 hours per week
- Swim 200m non-stop, cycle for 60 minutes & run for 40 minutes
A sprint distance triathlon typically involves a 750m swim, a 20km bike and a 5km run. If your race is sooner than 12 weeks, check out our 8 week sprint triathlon plan instead.
