Start training for an Olympic distance triathlon and reach the start line ready to race strong with this 12 week Olympic distance triathlon training plan from Brownlee Fitness. With expertise from triathlon heroes Alistair Brownlee and Jonny Brownlee, this program will structure your training so you can discover your multisport potential.
- Level - Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced
- Duration - 12 weeks
- Sessions - 3 to 11 per week
- Hours - 8.1 per week
Supporting you all the way to race day, this training schedule is suitable for those who can:
- Train 5 to 10 hours per week
- Swim 200m non-stop, bike for 60 minutes & run for 40 minutes
An Olympic distance triathlon involves a 1.5km swim, a 40km bike and a 10km run. If you’re not quite ready for the full 12 week program, take a look at our 8 week training plan for beginners. Or if swimming isn’t your thing - we also offer duathlon plans.
